Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair has been closed to the public until further notice.
This is due to industrial unrest among staff of the Caribbean Cement Company.
"We are grateful for the warm welcome we have received in Kingston and hope the situation at Caribbean Cement Company will be resolved soon to the satisfaction of all concerned, so we can reopen to the public," a company spokesperson said in a statement.
The ship arrived in Kingston on May 12 and is scheduled to remain at the Caribbean Cement Company’s pier at Rockfort, Kingston until June 11.
