Father of 2-y-o girl killed in crash on AGR Byfield Highway charged

A father, whose two-year-old daughter was killed after he crashed his vehicle along the AGR Byfield Highway in St Ann, has been charged.
He is 24-year-old Omeal Riley of Roaring River in St Ann.
He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been granted station bail.
The police say on May 9 at about 10 p.m., Riley was driving a Toyota Tercel motor car with a female and his two-year-old daughter aboard. He reportedly drove onto the highway into the path of a Toyota Wish motor car which resulted in a crash.
The occupants of both cars, including the driver of the Toyota Wish, who was the sole occupant of that vehicle, were injured and taken to hospital, where two-year-old Omelia, succumbed to her injuries.
Riley is to appear in court on July 6.
