Donors to the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) can now contribute in enhanced privacy thanks to a recent donation of privacy screens.
At the presentation of the screens donated by CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank, recently, Dr Veronica Taylor, director of the NBTS said the screens would be "extremely useful for the Mobile Collection Service as the agency works to increase its outreach and access to donors who find it difficult to reach the blood collection centres."
Renee Whitehorne, marketing manager of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank which has previously hosted a blood drive, said the bank was pleased to finance the purchase of the screens to improve the comfort of those donating blood.
