Cases at the St Thomas Circuit Court in Morant Bay were this morning suspended because of a malfunctioning air conditioning unit.
The Gleaner/Power106 News Centre was informed that the system has been down since Monday.
Presiding judge justice Sonia Wint-Blair suspended the sessions because of the unbearable heat.
She has said she will not continue until the problem is resolved.
