Would-be robber disarmed, shot

The police say a man who attempted to rob a family in Spanish Town yesterday was disarmed and shot.
The police say an illegal firearm was handed over to responding officers.
It’s reported that two men entered a home on Hartford Drive in Spanish Town and proceeded to rob the occupants.
The police say a struggle developed and one of the robbers was disarmed and shot.
The other man escaped.
