Corporate Hands | Margaritaville gives scholarship to children

Committed to providing education assistance to the children of their team members, Margaritaville Caribbean recently awarded scholarships to the tune of $8.2 million at an intimate ceremony at its Gloucester Avenue, Hip Strip plant in Montego Bay.

Since the programme's inception in 2006, the company has paid out over $7.6 million in scholarship funds to over 400 students, all children of its employees.

The programme consists of three categories: primary, secondary and tertiary. In 2017, some 39 students were awarded.
