Corporate Hands | NCB pumps $40 million in scholarship programme

Annually, more than 300 students from primary to tertiary levels benefit from the NCB Foundation Scholarship & Grants Programme. This year, the organisation invested more than $40 million in the initiative, a $10-million increase from 2016.

Two young ladies were named NCB National Champions at the Foundation's 10th annual scholarship reveal ceremony last Wednesday, with each receiving $500,000 towards tertiary education for the duration of their programme.

The duo was selected from a pool of more than 10,000 applicants from across the island and a group of 14 parish champions. The applicants were assessed on academic performance, community involvement and financial need.
