Corporate Hands | Noranda Bauxite gives 76 students education grants

Noranda Bauxite Company in St Ann last week presented 76 students from 33 schools in its operating area with educational grants valued at $25,000 each.

The grants were awarded to the most outstanding boy and girl from each of the schools for their performance in the recent Grade Six Achievement Test.

The company also presented a laptop each to Fitzroy Henry, of Brown's Town Primary and Attalia Forbes of Glen Preparatory School, who achieved the highest scores in the examinations.
