Performance evaluation system coming for state boards

The Government is moving to implement a performance evaluation system for Boards of Public bodies.
A Ministry Paper tabled in Parliament indicates that a pilot for the Board Performance Evaluation Instrument for Boards of Public Bodies is scheduled to begin in April 2018 among select public bodies.
It is anticipated that there will be a full roll out in April 2019, subjected to Cabinet approval
Cabinet says the performance evaluation system is aimed at improving the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of public bodies and boards.
