UPDATE: Norwood shooting victims identified

The victims of this morning’s drive-by shooting in Norwood, St James that left two people dead and two others injured, including a child, have been identified.
Dead are 36-year-old Sanjay Beckford and Sheldon Bailey.
Sanjay’s eight-year-old daughter, Santana, who is a grade three student at the Albion Primary School, was shot and injured and is in hospital.
Also hospitalised is a man named Denton Singh otherwise called Uncle.
It’s reported that about 8 o’clock this morning the father and daughter were among a crowd standing along Paradise Norwood main road in the community awaiting public transportation.
It’s further reported that a car with four men aboard drove up and alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on the crowd.
The four were shot.
Beckford died on the spot.
