Commissioner Quallo says 12 known gangs operating in Denham Town

Police Commissioner George Quallo, says there has been prolonged gang warfare in Denham Town which has resulted in several murders and shootings.

Commissioner Quallo said there are 12 known gangs operating in the community.

He said since 2015 there has been increased conflict between gangs in Denham Town and in Tivoli Gardens following the extradition of strongman Christopher Dudus Coke.

The police commissioner outlined the level of murders in Denham Town in recent years.

Commissioner Quallo said the police are committed to ridding the community of violence and gangs.
