Marjorie Taylor's colourful send-off

Just over one week ago, political differences were buried as supporters of the Jamaica Labour Party, the People's National Party and those aligned to neither turned out to say their last farewell to Ambassador Marjorie Taylor at Port Royal's historic St Peter's Church.
Taylor served as special assistant to former Prime Minister Michael Manley and councillor for the Norman Gardens division of the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, as it was known then.
After Manley's retirement from politics in 1992, Taylor took over his East Kingston and Port Royal constituency and was later elected member of parliament. She also served as state minister in the ministry of local government and a senator.
Here are more pictures from the funeral.
