PHOTOS: 23 people left homeless after East Street fire

A fire of unknown origin this afternoon ripped through a house on East Street between North and Charles streets in Kingston leaving 23 people homeless.
According to the Child Development Agency two children were affected by the fire.
The occupants managed to save a few items of furniture and appliances.
However, two cars that were parked in an adjacent garage were damaged.
The fire caused a disruption in the traffic flow in the vicinity of East Street as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
Units from four fire stations responded.
