50-year-old man dies after crashing into tree in Ocho Rios

A 50-year-old man died last evening after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree along the Bull Point main road in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
He has been identified as Fitzroy Fletcher, a contractor, of Steer Town in the parish.
Reports are that Fletcher was driving a Toyota Rav4 along the roadway about 10:20 last night when it developed a skid, spun in the road and crashed into a tree.
Fletcher sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
