Police to get protective screens for use on fatal crash scenes

Published:Monday | February 26, 2018 | 12:00 AM

The Jamaica Constabulary Force is to purchase protective screens for use in fatal road crashes.

The screens will be used to cordon off accident scenes for investigations.

They will also serve as a barrier to block the viewing of scenes by members of the public.

Currently it is common for the bodies of persons who have been killed in traffic crashes to remain at the scene of a crash for several hours.

Acting Head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit, Assistant Superintendent, Dahlia Garrick says the force are now testing samples.
