Linstead man charged with double murder

The police have charged Linstead resident, 24-year-old Steven Rhoden, otherwise called ‘Devil’, in relation to the murders of two men in St Catherine last December.

Rhoden, who is of a Mickleton district address, was charged on Saturday with the murders of 28-year-old Vaughn Gordon and 36-year-old Jevando Morgan, who, along with another man, were shot in a gun attack on Royal Avenue in Linstead on the morning of December 20, 2017.

Gordon and Morgan died while the other man was hospitalised.

The police say following investigations Rhoden was arrested on Thursday, March 22 by the security forces during an operation in Frazer’s Content in the parish.

He's scheduled to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday, April 16.
