#CarnivalinJamaica: Gary's creative costume and single carnival wish
Kimberly Small, Staff Reporter
Carnival costumes can be pretty pricey in Jamaica, but for Gary Bannister, his cost is creativity.
Decked in his costume made with empty Boom energy drink bottles, Bannister watched from the sidelines today as revellers in the Bacchanal Band made their way along Hope Road.
Complete with an odious crown, the glitter-faced patron said he has never bought a carnival package before.
But being on the road is a yearly venture for him.

With a large beverage in hand, Bannister said he had one wish: that carnival bands in Jamaica unite for one road march.
"We shouldn't have three or four bands; we should just have one big carnival," he told The Gleaner.
