Fruit vendor killed in May Pen

A fruit vendor was shot and killed in the May Pen town centre, in Clarendon last night during a brazen attack by gunmen.

He had been identified as Nicardo Guy, popularly known as Shortman, 25, of Woodside Havanna Heights, Phase One.

According to reports, Guy was standing by his food cart along main street, near Fernleigh Avenue, when he was pounced upon by two gunmen who opened fire at him.

He was shot in the head and upper body before his attackers fled the scene.

Another man, who was injured in the incident, laters he later turned up at the May Pen hospital for treatment.
