CARICOM Summit | Heads of Government Conference hosts breakfast meeting

The 39th Regular Meeting of the Caribbean Community Heads of Government Conference got underway in Montego Bay, St James this morning with a breakfast hosted by Secretary-General of the regional body Irwin LaRocque for ambassadors accredited to CARICOM.
At the same time, the 18th meeting of the Council for Finance and Planning (COFAP) ministerial session started at the Montego Bay Conference Centre where the three-day summit of CARICOM Heads of Government is being held.
The COFAP is responsible for economic policy coordination, financial and monetary integration of member states.
At about 3 p.m., Justice Adrian Saunders will be sworn-in as the third president of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).
The installation of Justice Saunders as the new CCJ President will take place ahead of the opening ceremony of the CARICOM conference set to begin at 4:30 pm.
