Would-be robbers arrested, firearm seized

Two alleged robbers were nabbed by a licensed firearm holder and a firearm seized during an attempted robbery on Molynes Road in St Andrew.
The Half Way Tree Police reports that about 11:55 a.m yesterday morning three men allegedly attempted to rob persons at a plaza when they were challenged by the licensed firearm holder.
According to the police, two were subsequently shot and injured and the third man escaped in the area.
The police were called and the injured men taken to hospital where they were admitted under police guard.
They say a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with three .38 cartridges was seized at the scene.
