Arscott out of race for PNP vice president, six others to contest September 15
PNP general secretary Julian Robinson has confirmed that vice president Noel Arscott will not be seeking re-election for the position he has held for more than a decade.
"Nominations have closed, now and he did not nominate. So six persons will be in the race, which will be held September 15," Robinson told The Gleaner a short time ago.
There are four posts for vice president in the PNP.
The challengers will be: incumbents Drs Fenton Ferguson, Wykeham McNeill and Angela Brown-Burke.
The newcomers are: Senator Damion Crawford and Members of Parliament Mikael Phillips and Phillip Paulwell.
Paulwell is the chairman of the PNP's region three.
