Guns, ammunition seized in St James

The police in St James are reporting that investigators seized two firearms and ammunition on Water Lilly Drive in Norwood in the parish on Tuesday.
Seized were:
* One 9mm Glock pistol with three magazines
* One 9mm Beretta pistol with two magazines
* Twenty 5.56 rounds of ammunition
The police say about 6:30 a.m. a team was conducting operations in the area where an abandoned, unfinished building was searched.
They say the firearms and ammunition were found buried in a black plastic bag.
No arrest was made in connection with the find.
