Water disruption in sections of St Thomas
Published:Wednesday | August 8, 2018 | 9:38 AM
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that the East Albion Pumping Station in St Thomas is out of service as a result of electro-mechanical problems.
The NWC says this has affected water to several communities including Albion, Easington, Yallahs Housing Scheme - Phase 1-4, Yallahs Industries, Poorman’s Corner and Red Hills.
The company is estimating that water supply to be restored on or before Saturday, August 11, 2018.
It says in the interim water will be trucked to the affected areas upon request.
