A former police informant this morning testified that murder accused Constable Collis 'Chucky' Brown warned him against telling anyone about their interaction.

The witness testified that he came in contact with Brown in 2016 while at the Horizon Adult Remand Centre in Kingston, where he was serving a two-year prison sentence for shop breaking and larceny.

The witness told the court that Brown reminded him several times that he should keep his mouth because he believes that persons would be interested to speak with him.

Testifying in the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston, the crown's final witness also said that he spoke to Brown about the case of the death of Dwayne Douglas who was murdered in Clarendon.

"I asked him wah gwaan with the Dwayne Douglas case with him," the witness testified.

He said Brown responded, "Nothing no inna that case. That saaf. Me a go buss dat."

Yesterday, the witness testified to being a police informant for the Clarendon Police Division.

Brown is on trial for the 2009 murder of Robert 'Gutty' Dawkins as well as the December 13, 2012 murders of Douglas and Andrew Fearon in Clarendon.

He is also facing one count of wounding with intent and one count of conspiracy to commit murder.
