St James woman charged for lottery scamming

Members of the Lottery Scam Taskforce charged 25-year-old Janice Brown of Leader Avenue, Montego Bay, St James on Wednesday.
Brown has been charged with possession of identity information and possession of an access device.
A court date is to be set.
The police say between the hours of 12:45 p.m and 2:00 p.m, during a special operation, Brown’s premises was searched.
The search yielded one black laptop and three notebooks which contained identity information of persons living overseas.
Brown was subsequently arrested and charged.
