Havendale, environs to be without water - NWC

The National Water Commission (NWC) says a mechanical problem has caused the suspension of operations at the Havendale water supply facility in St Andrew. 

This will result in water supply disruptions to the following communities: Kinswood, Ursa Major, Belgrade Heights, West Meade, Sherbourne Heights, Hydra Drive, Havendale, Meadowbrook, Forrest Hills Gardens, Chancery Hall Heights, Kingswood Tank, Smokey Vale, Smokey Vale, Diamond Road, Wireless Station Road and Mount Salus.

The water utility says it is presently conducting an assessment of the damaged equipment to facilitate the restoration of regular water supply to the affected communities within the shortest possible time.
