CashWiz yard sale off with a bang!

Fantastic deals and quality items were the major highlights of the CashWiz Yard Sale, held at the company's five locations islandwide. With excellent entertainment for the entire family, customers were in a festive mood as they took advantage of the low prices and excellent customer service throughout the day.
According to Lilieth Douglas, regional head of CashWiz Jamaica, the yard sale is one of the company's key areas of giving back to its customers and coincides with year-end activities.
"Customers get a chance to also shop early and take advantage of our exceptional layaway programme, where they get to secure their items by paying only 10 per cent down and will be able to pick up in time for Christmas," Douglas said.
She said they were pleased with the response from their customers and look forward to their continued support on other sale days. "Our sales day are ones of excitement, and our customers leave satisfied and happy as they get a 'smartshopper' feeling, she said.
Douglas said some of the items that caught the attention of the customers were appliances and electronics, namely televisions, refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, cell phones, laptops, sound equipment, game consoles, and tools.
Other items that were on sale were jewellery selections for men, women and children, including an array of high-end brands, such as Rolex and Movado. Their ever-changing displays also included wedding sets, engagement rings, wedding bands, other rings, chains and bracelets.
CashWiz is an international company that started in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The company has 19 locations throughout the Caribbean - in Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines - and three locations in Florida, United States.
The company also operates as a loan provider for individuals and businesses with pawnbroking services (buy-back options).
The year-end sales event will continue every Friday and Saturday leading up to the Christmas season.
