Hello Mi Neighbour | Identify your mission and carry it out
Hello, mi neighbour! Based on established facts, it is not unreasonable to conclude that all of us have been sent into this world on a mission for some good. Do you know your mission? If it does not incorporate the well-being of others, you might have either missed your world or suffered a 'trans-mission': a physical, mental or psychological reconstruction, that forces one to carry out a mission other than the one for which he/she was born. Hence, my coinage: 'trans-mission' - mission change.
Barring a few exceptions, human beings can be trained to spiritually, physically, and mentally enrich the lives of others without diminishing their own value. Actually, adding value to others adds value to your own self. A simple example: Your hands are dirty, your neighbour's hands are also dirty. Do you know what happens if you start washing your neighbour's hands? You've got it!
'Trans-mission'
But, what paves the way for 'trans-mission'? Greed, covetousness, laziness, jealousy, and grudgefulness are some of the main culprits. To be driven by one or more of these feelings spells trouble for that individual. If the driver is not quickly changed, you could end up in the abyss of misery and torment from which not many recover.
If you have never reflected on your mission or purpose in this life, it is about time you did by asking yourself some serious questions and crafting your personal mission statement. A personal mission statement defines who you are as a person and identifies your purpose, wherever you may find yourself, in life. It explains how you aim to pursue that purpose and why it matters to you and your environment.
This statement helps you to focus on your long-term goals instead of flitting here, there and everywhere, at the disposal of everyone and running down every rabbit trail in sight. However enticing, if the decision you are tempted to make cannot fit into your personal mission statement, think twice. Dave Ramsey says, "A good mission statement becomes an out-of-bounds marker for your ideas." For emphasis, if you ignore your personal mission statement, you are setting up yourself up for failure.
Personal mission statements may seem simple, but they require a lot of effort to create. It is important, therefore, to think about your life principles and goals. Why did you set these goals? How do your goals make you a better person? The mission statement should answer these questions in one or two short sentences.
Once your mission statement is written, start using it immediately! Frame and place it where you can see or read it every day - it will influence your attitude. Share your mission statement with close friends and ask them to hold you accountable.
Enjoy your mission!

OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP
A neighbour sent this letter to me; please help if you can
Good day Mr. Townsend, my friend ...has end stage renal (kidney) failure. She also suffers from other health complaints like diabetes and hypertension. These illnesses have hindered her from working, leading a normal life, changes in her appearance has made her weak and affects her loved ones. With the inability to work she is struggling to provide basic necessities like water and food, pay bills, purchase medication, do her dialysis, travel and pay her medical expenses. Unfortunately, her electricity has been disconnected and she has not had running water for several months. Can you help to ease some of the burdens that she faces by broadcasting her situation to make the public aware? She is in urgent need.
