Brace for power cuts in St James, Westmoreland tomorrow

Residents in a number of communities in St James and Westmoreland will be without electricity for several hours tomorrow.
The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) says the disruption in service, which is scheduled to start at 8a.m. and end at 5p.m., is to facilitate ongoing system upgrades to improve power delivery in the areas.
Among the areas that will be affected in St James are Anchovy, Bogue Heights, Cambridge, Catadupa, Ducketts, Great River, Lambs River, Lethe, Mount Carey, Mountpelier, Rat Trap, Roehampton, Seaford Town, Seven Rivers, St Leonards, Stonehenge, Bogue Village, Montego Bay West Village, Belmont, Ginger Hill, Retrieve and all roads leading off.
Areas that will be affected in Westmoreland include Savannah-La-Mar Town, Darliston, Bethel Town, Ramble, Petersfield and Ferris.
