MC Systems looking to meet technology solutions need of credit unions
With a membership base of over one million and growing, Jamaica's credit union movement will be relying more on technology to improve efficiencies and services to keep pace with demand.
Consequently, technology solutions firm MC Systems has reached out to the 26-member strong movement to assist with identifying and developing applications that can speed up the transformation from community banks to full service financial entities.
Dwayne Russell, general manager of MC Systems, said credit unions are now seeking to “ramp up” the management of members’ accounts by incorporating relevant technology-based solutions in their business systems.
“Gathering customer intelligence to become more informed about the spending patterns of credit union members; and seeking effective ways to communicate information about the services they offer, are some of the key elements to improve member experience,” Russell pointed out.
“MC Systems will, therefore, be working with the credit union movement, to host an event, which will demonstrate how we can deliver value, through our solutions to assist them to solve their challenges, and ultimately achieve their businesses’ goals,” he added.
The event entitled: “Union Town” will be held at the Spanish Court Hotel, Worthington on Trafalgar Road in New Kingston, on Monday.
Russell explained that on display will be a suite of technology solutions powered by MC Systems that can assist the credit unions to take their businesses to the next level, such as software applications; payments including ATMs and its value added services; payroll solutions; audit, analytics and compliance, business data analytics and point of sale.
