More water woes for sections of Kingston and St Andrew

The National Water Commission (NWC) has revised its water management measure for sections of the Corporate Area.
The measure was implemented in December following a break along its Ferry Water Supply Pipeline and other network issues
The NWC explains that an assessment of the current supply arrangement has yielded mixed results for particular areas and as a result, further changes have to be made.
Therefore, effective immediately, the following new schedule will apply to the communities listed below:
Alternate Nights from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Waltham Park Road
- Olympic Way
- Bayfarm Road
Alternate Nights from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Zaidie Gardens
- Moreton Park
- Maple Leaf Mews
- Dunrobin Court
- Molynes Road
Daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
- West Kings House Road
- Kingsway
- Devon Road
- Devon Close
The NWC says these areas will experience very low water pressure outside of these supply periods and that the company’s technical teams will continue to monitor the situation of each area and provide updates as these become necessary.
