Fatal collision in Williamsfield, Westmoreland

The Westmoreland Police are probing the circumstance surrounding the fatal collision that claimed the life of a man on the Williamsfield main road on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Oral Spence, a farmer of Williamsfield.

The police say about 10:50 last night Spence was driving a Hi-Rev motorcycle travelling towards Grange district.

On reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a yard.

Spence sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
