St Ann man charged after expelling $1 million worth of cocaine for court Wednesday

The St Ann man arrested at the Norman Manley Airport on Sunday allegedly with more than $1 million worth of cocaine is to appear in court on Wednesday on drug charges.

Fifty-year-old Oral Willis of St Ann’s Bay, St Ann has been charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine; and importing cocaine.

The police say during security checks Willis was stopped and interviewed and based on his responses he was detained.

He was subsequently taken to a medical facility where he was examined.

According to the police, Willis expelled 102 homemade capsules containing white substance resembling cocaine weighing approximately 2.2 pounds.

He is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday.
