Jamaican, Nicaraguan men arrested over $3 million ganja seizure in St Elizabeth

The police in St Elizabeth are reporting the seizure of a large quantity of ganja worth $3 million.
Four men are in custody in relation to the seizure of the 600 pounds of compressed ganja.
The police say a team was conducting an operation about 4:30 yesterday afternoon along the Fort Charles main road in Treasure Beach when they signalled the driver of a Toyota Altis motorcar to stop.
He complied.
The police say the vehicle was searched and the 600 pounds of compressed ganja were found.
The driver was arrested.
Further investigations were carried out and three Nicaraguan men were arrested in connection to the seizure.
