Taxi operator killed in North-South Highway crash

Twenty-seven-year-old Tafie White, a taxi operator of Florentino Drive in Angels Phase 2, St Catherine died in a traffic crash this morning.
The crash happened on the Mammee Bay leg of the North-South Highway in St Ann about 1 a.m.
The police say White was driving a Mazda Premacy motorcar towards Mammee Bay when he crashed into the rear of a disabled Witzco trailer in the left lane.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
