Portland police make another large ganja bust

Police sources say the compressed ganja, which was packaged, appeared ready for export. It was discovered during a special operation at Belle Castle, Hector's River shortly after 4 p.m Thursday. 

The Portland Police have seized a large quantity of compressed ganja in Hector's River, Portland. 

Police sources say the compressed ganja, which was packaged, appeared ready for export.

It was discovered during a special operation at Belle Castle, Hector's River shortly after 4 p.m Thursday. 

The actual weight of the drug is not yet known, but according to the police, it can be listed as one of the largest ganja find in Portland in recent times. 

In May, the police recovered more than 7,000 pounds of ganja on a beach in Bryan's Bay with a street value of approximately $17 million.
