NWC plant in St Catherine out of operation due to defective pump

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that its Colbeck Water Facility in St Catherine has been taken out of operation due to a defective pumping unit.
The repairs are estimated to be completed by Friday, September 10.
In the interim, water will be trucked to the areas affected.
Areas impacted are Planters and Bois Content.
The NWC is assuring that every effort will be made to restore water supply within the shortest possible time.
