Two shot dead, third injured in Lincoln Avenue shootings

Two men have been shot dead and a third injured in two incidents on Lincoln Avenue in Kingston.
One of the men was killed by armed thugs in a drive-by shooting around 7:30 p.m.
The police intercepted the car in which the shooters attempted to escape and were reportedly attacked.
During an exchange of gunfire, one of the gunmen was fatally hit and another injured.
The injured man is now in hospital.
The police say an illegal M16 rifle and a pistol were recovered from the car in which the men were travelling.
