Debbie Ellis writes a message to her friend who survived breast cancer on Sagicor Group Jamaica’s (SGJ) breast cancer tribute bus, during the first leg of the company’s breast cancer awareness road tour. The tour saw the bus stopping at a Sagicor Bank or Sagicor Life branch in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Mandeville to spread awareness of the disease. In addition to writing a tribute to a loved one, educational flyers, which included information on how to do a breast cancer self-examination, were shared. Persons also had the chance to sign up and win one of 60 free mammograms, 15 for each location.
