Teenagers charged for ammunition possession
Three teenage boys were arrested and charged following the seizure of several rounds of ammunition allegedly found in their possession along Bedward Crescent in August Town, St Andrew, on Monday.
The boys, between ages 15 and 17, have been charged with unauthorised possession of ammunition.
The Half-Way Tree police say about 1:58 a.m., a team was on patrol in the area when the three boys were seen acting in a manner that aroused suspicion.
The boys were approached, searched, and a transparent bag retrieved.
It was reportedly found to contain 12 nine-millimetre cartridges.
The boys were arrested and subsequently charged.
