Detectives assigned to the Lottery Scam Task Force arrested and charged a 21-year-old St James resident following a targeted operation at his home on Thursday.

Damarion Spence of Bogue Village, Montego Bay, was charged with possession of identity information and possession of access device.

Between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m., the police conducted a search at his home during which eight US bank cards, a laptop, and a cellular phone were reportedly found.

The police say an on-site analysis of Spence's laptop and mobile phone revealed identity information of persons residing overseas as well as banking information.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.
