The Issa Trust Foundation and the Michigan Lions conducted a Vision Mission in Jamaica in October 2023 where they conducted free eye examinations of several school students in Westmoreland, as well as the staff at the Couples Resorts in Negril. For those whom the doctors did not have the type of prescription glasses on hand on the day of exams, they went back to Michigan and had over 191 pairs of glasses made for some students and staff. The Vision Mission was coordinated by President of the Issa Trust Foundation Diane Pollard, along with the Michigan Lions and Alexandra Ghisays of Couples Resorts.
