Prisoner escapes custody from police station in Westmoreland

A prisoner escaped from the Morgan's Bridge Police Station in Grange Hill, Westmoreland on Friday night.
A Gleaner source indicated that the incident took place sometime after 8 p.m.
Further, our source informed that the man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, escaped from the holding area at the station while cops were in the process of releasing a man who made bail.
A manhunt is on to locate him.
