Businessman shot in suspected attempted robbery at Oaklands apartment

A businessman was this morning shot in a suspected attempted robbery at the Oaklands apartment complex in St Andrew.
The injured man was rushed to hospital.
His condition at this time is unknown.
The Gleaner gathered that the incident took place on Block E.
Several explosions were heard around 8:45 a.m. inside the gated community.
“A woman was heard screaming help, help. Before that, we hear the explosions,” a resident told The Gleaner.
Our news team was told that attempted robbery was the motive.
Scene of crime detectives are now at the location.
The St Andrew North police are investigating.
