Man gunned down in Kingston

A man was gunned down at the intersection of Princess and Beeston streets in Kingston on Monday night.

He is yet to be identified.

The deceased is of a dark complexion, slim build, about 5 feet 11 inches long and has a dreadlock hairstyle.

The Denham Town police report that about 8:50 p.m., a police team was on patrol in the area when explosions were heard.

The team responded and on arrival the man was seen lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was assisted to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police say another man later turned up at hospital and reported that he was shot and injured in the same area.

He is being treated at hospital.
