Stock Round Up | Carreras, Wigton, JMMB volume leaders

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index lost ground today. The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 45/50.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 3,871.24 points or 1.11 per cent, to close at 344,494.32.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 3,941.08 points or 1.17 per cent, to close at 331,907.30 points, while the Junior Market Index declined by 19.99 points or 0.52 per cent, to close at 3,792.90.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 1.67 points or 0.66 per cent, to close at 255.68.

  • 45 advanced.
  • 50 declined.
  • 21 traded firm.

Winners 

  • JMMB Group 5.75%, up 14.99 per cent to close at $1.81.
  • ISP Finance, up 14.99 per cent to close at $31.00.
  • CPJ, up 13.09 per cent to close at $10.80.
  • Eppley .75%, up 12.37 per cent to close at $6.63.
  • JMMB Group 7.00%, up 9.84 per cent to close at $2.68.

Losers

  • Blue Power, down 14.93 per cent to close at $2.85.
  • Kremi, down 12.05 per cent, closing at $3.43.
  • First Rock USD, down 11.49 per cent to close at US$0.042.
  • CAB, down 10.04 per cent, closing at $2.15.
  • SRF USD, down 10.00 per cent to close at US$0.072.

Market volume

  • 30.63 million units valued at over $171.67 million.

Volume leaders were Carreras, followed by Wigton and JMMB Group 9.50%.
