#JAVOTES2024 | Slow voting in South Eastern St Ann
Voter turnout in Higgin Town and Claremont in South Eastern St Ann has been slow so far.
At Higgin Town Basic School, it was reported that voter turnout overall was slower than in the last election, according to one liaison officer.
A People's National Party (PNP) supporter said, however, that voting on their side was going well.
At PD 19 at the Ferncourt High School in Claremont, both PNP and Jamaica Labour Party personnel disclosed that while the voting was progressing it was doing so at a very slow pace.
At another polling station in Claremont, it was noted that over 10 minutes passed without anyone turning out to vote.
