#JAVOTES2024 | Voter turnout 22.93 percent at 3 pm

The Electoral Commission of Jamaica is reporting that the voter turnout at 3 p.m. was 22.93 percent.
In 2016, the turnout for the comparative period was 21.62 percent.
Just over two million persons are eligible to vote.
A total of 499 candidates were nominated.
Voting continues until 5 p.m.
