Gas prices up $4.50, diesel down $0.75

Motorists will pay more for gas when they go to the pumps on Thursday.

The state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, says E-10 87 is to move up by $4.50 to sell for $169.67 per litre and a litre of E-10 90 will go up by $4.50 to sell for $175.77.

Automotive diesel oil will move down by $0.75 per litre to sell for $175.90.

Ultra low sulphur diesel will sell for $181.89 per litre following a decrease of $1.20.

The price of Kerosene will go down by $3.06 to sell for $176.68.

In the meantime, propane cooking gas will go down up by $2.93 to sell for $72.51, while butane will move down by $3.06 to sell for $81.87 per litre.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
