Farmer charged for uncle's murder in St Ann

A 26-year-old farmer of McNie, St Ann, has been charged with the murder of his uncle.
Nicholas Thompson, otherwise 'Gabba', is accused of killing 45-year-old Tyrone Brown, otherwise 'Paul', also a farmer of Cowley district, St Ann.
The police say about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Thompson visited his uncle on his farm in Cowley district where he used a machete to chop Brown several times.
The police were alerted and, on their arrival, Brown was seen with multiple chop wounds.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation was carried out and Thompson was arrested and later charged.
